Rock and Sarah met on April 17, 2023 in Washington D.C. Both traveling for work, they met at a networking event in the garden of the Omni Shoreham Hotel....Immediately, the two shared a connection over music, travel, philosophical questions and personal ambitions. Quickly falling into easy conversation, Rock and Sarah exchanged information and said they would keep in touch and re-connect when back in New York....They went on their first date in early May in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, a neighborhood they now call their home. Before sharing a home they dated for two years, taking turns traversing Central Park to see each other. They would alternate traveling east -- to Sarah's homebase -- or west -- back to Rock's neighborhood....Sarah and Rock are grateful to have found one another and to be surrounded by the love and support of their family, friends and community. They cannot wait to celebrate their story, their love and this next exciting chapter with their dearest friends and family!

Think refined elegance suited for a memorable evening outdoors.

For Her: Cocktail dresses or formal midi/maxi dresses with elevated or eccentric accessories. A wedge, block heel or flat shoe is recommended, as the venue has grass and gravel underfoot.For Him: A suit and tie is preferred (dark or seasonal tones both work beautifully). Patterns, color or accessories encouraged.

We'd love for you to dress to impress, but encourage you to choose what makes you feel confident and comfortable. Feel free to lean into the season: think rust, olive, burgundy, and warm, earthy neutrals — and don't be shy about bold colors, patterns, or florals. Mid-September in the Hudson Valley can be cool by evening, so a tailored blazer, wrap, or shawl makes a polished addition. We encourage guests to check the weather forecast in advance. We ask that guests steer clear of overly casual pieces during the reception.

For the Bonfire After Party

Guests are encouraged to bring a jacket, sweatshirt or comfortable change of clothes with them to the wedding if they plan to stay for the bonfire after party. We will have a safe place for you to store your belongings so they don't weigh you down throughout the evening!
