Rock and Sarah met on April 17, 2023 in Washington D.C. Both traveling for work, they met at a networking event in the garden of the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

Immediately, the two shared a connection over music, travel, philosophical questions and personal ambitions. Quickly falling into easy conversation, Rock and Sarah exchanged information and said they would keep in touch and re-connect when back in New York.

They went on their first date in early May in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, a neighborhood they now call their home. Before sharing a home they dated for two years, taking turns traversing Central Park to see each other. They would alternate traveling east -- to Sarah's homebase -- or west -- back to Rock's neighborhood.
